Rtn.V.Sivakumar Fondly known as HOPE Siva, Rotary District Governor Elect Siva @ Sivakumar, Son of Vaithi Udayar and Rajamani, He has completed his undergraduate degree in Science. Bussiness He was working in a Leading construction company for 11years in the position of General Manager. From 2006 he joined with his school mate Mr.E.M.Shankar and started the SS Power Services It is the sales and service dealer for Indian leading company Mahindra and Mahindra powerol generator .They have received awards for the best dealer in Tamilnadu, the best dealer in south India and they have also received the supreme award of India’s no.1 dealer in the year of 2011-12. From 2013 they started an Exclusive showroom for furniture in the name of Smart Furniture in Salem and they are also manufacturers of Inverter and Solar batteries in the name of Redsun batteries. Rotary He joined Rotary in 2008-09 in the prestigious 50 year’s old chartered Rotary club of Salem north. He was the president of Salem North in 2014-15. In this period he has done the project of Rs.21 lakhs for the society. He has also raised the fund from evening show in Movendhar arangam and memorable project of Artificial limbs project in Srilanka for 57 beneficiaries. Which was followed by this humanitarian project in 2015-16 all over the district in the name of Project HOPE( Helping others people evolve).The project cost was Rs.72Lakhs. We collected the payment from our district Rotarians. In 2017 -18.he served as the Asst.Governor . He conducted the first zone conference for Rotarians who had completed 25 years and above with family and he has also made possible the District cricket match at SRP stadium Salem. The Rotary club of Salem Evergreen saw light in his period. In 2018-19 he served as the District Membership committee head. District conference VARNAJALAM was headed by Rtn.Sivakumar in the year 2020-21. Which was the Covid -19 period .It was India’s first virtual and live conference. In this conference one session arranged for our nearest Rotary district …… and they have constructed a Covid hospital in Perundurai. (which was constructed in 45 days at accost of Rs.20crore.). The Highlight of this session was a collection of 95 Lakhs within 45minitues whi9ch was contributed by our district 2982 to the hospital. 2020-21 he arranged the wonderful district AWARDS NIGHT in the name of KALASUVADUKAL. Our District 2982 recognised his service and we elected him to serve as the District Governor for 2024-25. Family He is married to Ms. Poongodi who is also a Rotarian and president of Rotary club of Salem Rupavati in the year 2022-23. His two lovely daughters Ms Kavya and Ms Sowmya are studying masters and undergraduate degrees. The Entire family are Paul Harris Fellows.
